So I replaced my distributor and noticed that my car kept having some trouble. In turn it drove me mad and I started noticing the symptons associated when it began acting up. When my engine sat cold it didnt give me any issues. When it heated up, thats when the problems began. I narrowed it down to when my engine is warm I have trouble accelerating, so I further narrowed it down to my tranny. My transmission has no trouble changing gears, no grinding noise either. However, once it heated up the trouble began. So i poured some more tranny fluid and it stopped, now its acting up again. Perhaps a transmission flush with fresh fluid will fix the problem ? Like i said b4 it has no problems changing gears, just only when it heats up that problems arise. Another issue is when im at a red and im stopped and idling my tach bounces when my engine is not in motion, a very small bounce, but a bounce none the less.
All comments, ideas and suggestions are welcomes in refernce to my tranny issue.

 

Can you please explain more about what your problem is? For instance, in what way is it having trouble accelerating? When you step on it? Or just normal driving. How about you try changing your transmission fluid, and see how it feels afterwards.

My tach bounces slightly when my engine is not in motion too, so I would not worry about that too much. Hope that helps!
