How do you figure? Maybe its the driver or overall vehical weight.

I personally have never been beat by a lsvtec

Here is something to think about if you haven't already seen it.

My H22 crx weighs about 100 more lbs and has similar boltons and went 12.22.

You're talking about track times, which really means nothing...
Whoever was driving that h22 could have just been a horrible driver.
Was the ls gutted?
Slicks? Track conditions?
There are alot of variables...

Because if the h22 is on street tires it'll just sit there spining. However, if it where on slick's that would be a different story.

quesiton is so general...

h22 in wat car? lsvtec in what car...are they both in the same car

lsvtec gearins are really good....while h22 gearings are really bad...and plus engine weight different...h22's tq are high require greater tracking (really good tires or at the track), so if it's an a hatch or crx, then it wouldn't be a good idea, because it'll lose tracking when yiou try to take off...if you dont wanna lose tracking you will take off slower ...therefore 1st gear taking off, it lost to lsvtec already

that is just one part of the problem...so

Possibly LS-VTECs go faster because there is a greater tendency to drop them into REALLY light cars like CRXs. H22A swaps are not so easy into those cars.

Don't forget cable tranny's are not as direct of a shift as a b series. and if you don't get the h22 linkage correct you will have some serious shifting issues.

so does torque. and, gsr gearing sucks *** for n/a. don't hate. the 22 would crush your set up. stock for stock, the 22 makes more power. what everybody forgets is that 90% of ls/vtec's out there are semi-built and the 22's are stock w/ bolts on.

You got to remember that he is considering setups of the same WHP. Not whether one is built or not!

good luck finding that. 22's make a good more wtq than lsvtec's but less whp. i've seen 22's with bolt ons, and less whp murder semi built lsvtec's on the reg. the fact still remains that where we live, there are a handful of 22'd hatches, and, they are usually the fastest.

it cost less to go faster with b motor then it does with h. The white hatch (max) is street car with full race H motor doing 11's

Dont' be rediculous here man....how many of you actually going to build an h22 like that...in general may be one or two....and look at the hatch of h22 inside...it's a the track...and ur ultra high performance traction tires...lol..

talking about integ gsr stock vs h22,,,gsr can hang on prelude h22 at any gear...and look that power bang different....at least 20hp and 25tq's more from engine displacement size......omg dude ...yes i know prelude is heavier...it heavier for a reason...

Mr. B16C....

why do you think prefessional racer using b-series engines such as gsr or b16a1-2? h22 belongs to a different class based on its engine displacement...

second their internal compartment ain't as reliable as the b-series for one example their rods are too long...period

plus where we live b-series own h22 anywher anytime

you know what...peace out man..why do i have to argue with you guys...you like whateve u like...that is you

i like whatever i like...we are not the pro you know....just to let you know, for sure there are more b-series street tuners that are faster than h22 tuners overall, i am all motor....so....i'll chill out any h22 on the street that look at me in a weird way...

thanks for calling me MR. anyway, i am by no means biggin' up the 22. i'm just saying that they are quick. i'm b series and will never change. but, i'm not ignorant enough to not notice that the market is flooded with b series parts and availability. not to mention the obvious. ease of install (any b series motor) into ef's, eg's & ek's over the 22. honestly, if it was the other way around(h22 bolting right in), there would be only a handful of 18'd up civics, and the 22 is cheaper to start off with. don't get it twisted, i know that b's are better, but, i still respect displacement.
