Stock jdm b16 header + stock cx cat really that bad???
oke so i went on the dyno today and i was expecting wayy higher numbers then what i had today with my setup
i got 150.5 whp and 108 ft/lb...
can't think of anything else wrong accept that i'm running stock jdm b16 header and stock cx cat with 2.25 custom piping and dynomax turbo ss axelback
( for quietness)
what numbers do you guys think i should get? shouldn't it be around 170?
what other mods do you guys suggest
these are the mods i have on my 94 cx hatch
b18c1 block
p30 pistons
jdm b16 head
00 jdm itr cams
aem cam gears
generic short ram intake
y21 tranny
jdm b16 stock header
stock cx cat
walbro 255lph high pressure fuel pump
v-afc
b&m fpr
thanks for reading

I guess I missed this one. But that is another cause of your problem. Turbo mufflers are quite restrictive compared to the more popular straight-through designs. And if that piping is crush-bent (which it probably is), that is also taking a toll. My recommendation?
1. Get rid of that exhaust and get a decent catback system. And yes, there are some decent, free-flowing catback systems that are quiet. Greddy is a perfect example of such a system.
2. Get a decent cat. Preferably one that matches the diameter of the exhaust system.
3. Get a header. B18C motors like headers. Ideally, you could get something like a Hytech, DTR, or SMSP and gain a TON of power. But even an inexpensive DC JDM 4-1 will work wonders.
4. Get a good cold air intake. Or at least get a good filter for your generic intake.
And what ECU are you running?

Yes, it will. After all the ITR has a B18C. You can use the stock Honda 1999+ ITR header. Or you can buy the DC piece. The DC piece is cheaper, easier to find, and makes at least as much power. But you can't add a heat shield for that 'stealth' effect.
wow that was a fast reply! thanks for the info, i was acually going to pick up my jdm itr header right now, we'll see how it runs after that with highflow cat
thanks a bunch
