Well there has been an influx of grammar school drop outs who expect help, but cannot express their questions in a comprehensible way. So they get butt hurt when people ask them to correct their grammar. How can you help someone that you cannot understand?

ZeroForum boards are among the most popular Internet forums in the world.
Although it was founded by and is dominated by native English speakers, it's a decidedly colonial and parochial attitude to focus on someone's grammar as if he's less intelligent because he has less of a command of English.
There are some very influential, intelligent and useful people in our hobby who simply were not raised with English and cannot communicate as well with it as they do their native languages. For example, the owner of Spoon Sports sometimes requires an interpreter to get his point across completely successfully in English.
It might be a good idea for us to develop the attitude that we should be helping everyone who comes to us, not just those of us who have a perfect command of English. I know it's harder, because we will sometimes have to ask the non-Anglophone to clarify exactly what he means.
We all have things to learn, no matter how old or experienced we are, and I should hate for us not to learn it simply because a non-Anglophone was afraid to post here.
I agree George, but there is a fundamental difference between a non-native speaker and a lazy native speaker overindulging in slang and careless grammar. I actually can better understand the non-native version, because it tends to be more consistent.

Bingo.
Bingo.
I understand.
There's a reaction to a poster on the front page of ITR Forum, whose IP address would seem to indicate he is probably a non-native Anglophone. That's what got me going.

This statement I couldn't agree with more.
What's more I would never think of jumping on another site in another language and Not using some sort of proper language translator and Especially if I didn't command enough of the language I intended to attempt to communicate in.
Language barriers I can accept, I come from an immigrant background and am second generation here. But my Grandparents spoke and wrote fluent English and only spoke their native tongue in the home.
It's the laziness that gets me the most.
Maybe I'm just old-fashioned and or stupid.
