Some of you might know the Story of how I got my ITR, and some of you may not... But I got it at a Dealership when someone traded it in... Well, actually my freind got it from the dealership, crashed it, then sold it to me... But anyways... Whatever.

So ever since my freind got the car, both of us always wondered if anything was done to the car that was not visible to the normal eye... As in Internals, Cams, Tranny and such... Even after I got the car from him I still pondered...

But the craziest thing happened after work today... I went to the gas station to fuel up my car with some good ol' 92... And I see an Impreza, looked pretty nice... Except for the Carbon Altezzas... But the guy goes in the gas station, comes back out and approaches me... He tells me that my ITR used to belong to his freind. So I was like, "Oh yeah?". He tells me the he traded it into a Lexus Dealership for a GS430, which is Exactly what happened... So this guy was not BSing or anything. So I ask him about the car, what's been done to it and crap. So he tells me that nothing has been done to the car other than the basic bolt-ons that you can see. Though it's nothing Intense or crazy, it's still very nice to finally know what's been done to my car...

So yeah, thanks for reading my pointless story... I just wanted to share cuz I thought it was pretty sweet.

That's actually good to know. I still wonder if chit has been done to mine by the previous owner. It came with Tein coilovers but that's all I noticed.

 

How did the guy know that your ITR belonged to his friend? I mean, do you live in a small town? Does your car have distinguishable features that would set it apart from other ITR's?

 

I was waiting for something CRazy! Like you head had all Diffrent internals or It had D16 pistons or some weird ****!

I wish I knew what was done to my car. As for now...the evidence I've found has led me to conclude tha my R at one point had: wheels, suspension, vfac, cf hood, exhaust, intake, tb, cams, cam gears, seats, diif wing, ecu, alarm, short shifter, fuel press. guage, and a crock pot hot enough to burn/melt four holes right through the trunk carpet and the plastic lid underneath it.( )

I don't even know where that guy was from...

But like I said... He said his freind sold his ITR to Lexus and got a GS430. I work at Lexus and he traded it in, and I was the one who cleaned up his new GS430. And he knew it was his freinds cuz it had a Mugen Spoiler on it... Not very common.

It's just got basically bolt-ons... Mugen, AEM, MSD.

Did you get the stock parts from the previous owner? I made sure I got them all when I bought my car.
