will a seafoam work on a 87 crx non FI. if so where would uput it

 

well? its a 1987 CRX HF

 

(carburetor) Take out the air filter and pour it in there. Seafoam can be used in your gas tank, oil, and fuel.

 

Just make sure you do know the effects, I have seen some bad effects from it like blown head gaskets and such.

 

What are you trying to do with the seafoam?

 

seafoam is supposd to clean the carbon build up in your engine right? well a friend of mine hads a 87crx hf and wanted to know where woul dge put the seafoam

Yes correct, but some of the effects can be pretty bad. Get a water bottle, turn it so its spraying the mist pattern. Have your friend old the engine at about 1,500 ( you can increase this but just make sure its not idling ) and spray the water in your engine, not a lot but about 2 sprays every now and then. What does water create when it becomes hot enough ? Steam, so your steam cleaning the inside of the engine.
