O2 sensor problem
Got a slight problem! Ive got a Ukdm B16a which is about to get a turbo fitted and im running the hack. Before i fit it i decided to fit my Air fuel ratio gauge and the result has confused me. The reading with out the engine running is rich! with the car started and running it is still at the top of the rich area. Ive spiced into the O2 wire at the ecu so can not think what the problem can be. Car runs perfect and there are no error codes.
This is the case because the narrowband O2 sensor tells you absolutely nothing. It's a light show. A decent 14.5:1 AFR corresponds to 2 bars in the rich region. As long as it isn't showing lean under load you are fine.
Thanks for the reply, Got it sorted now. It was ok once it was warmed up properly.
Nearly finished my turbo install today, what a night mare! So much and so little space. Just got to put my injectors in and i can boost boost boost!!!
