How is it not legal? AEM does it.... Am I missing something here?

CP has a CARB EO number for most of their intakes. i have been usign them for several years and they are an almost exact copy of aem.

email the seller and ask what the carb number is, then search around yahoo for the carb site that lists all carb numbers and what make/model/product it applies to, if its the same intake for the car the seller is saying its for,

 

the last 2 CP intakes i sold and the last 2 before that i bought for myself came with CARB EO stickers.

 

how were they performance wise and can you use an aem bypass valve

 

if u are going to use a bypass vavle... keep it stock or get the type-s intake

 

just wanna use it during winter when it rains, ill prolly just end up switching it back to stock intake. but im gonna go ahead and buy the cp.

 

the CP intakes are direct copies of AEM it seems, perofrmance has been as good as AEM or Injen for me.
