I recently pulled a code of my car that happens about once or twice a week. It seemed to be a long, pause, long, pause, long pause, etc kept going. I belived it's a 10, which is IAT. My question is, if it is the IAT, what can I do to fix it. My other quesiton is, how fast is a fast blink compared to a long one because now that I think about it, it might be a 1 which is the oxygen senson. Engine is b18b, OBDI thanks.

 

yeah, its definately not a code 1 cuz the short blinks are so quick that you can almost miss em... especially when counting past like 3

 

short blonks are 1 and long pulses are 10

 

for the IAT i usally call a honda tech @ a dealer tey are pretty helpful. since u have a "Acura" call them before honda

 

OK, I was hopeing I could someone here on honda-tech that could help. Is the sensor the one that is on the intake? It's a 95 LS motor. How can I fix this, it's really weird that it only happens like once or twice a week.

 

why don t u just swap out the sensor
u can get one 4 $5 at a pick and pull

but first check it over visualy
pull on the wire
unplug it and make sure its getting good contact

 

Could anyone post a picture of where this sensor is located at on an LS motor, I have pics in my sig if you can check it out and let me know, I think it might be on the intake.
