rattling in the rear???
i searched and really didnt find anything. i have a 3rd gen integra and when i go over 40 mph and the steering wheel is turned a lil to the left--i hear a rattling noise in the back. it sounds like a loose washer. so i jacked up the car made sure everything was tight and i still get that rattling noise every once in a while
anyone know what it could possibly be?
thanks in advance to anyone that could help

checked it
and the weird thing is it only happens if im going over 40 and the steering wheel is a little to the left (changing lanes or slight curve to the left)
and if i hit the brakes--it'll stop but as soon as i let off the brake it starts to rattle again

the sound is kinda hard to explain
but if it is a "whirring" sound--what do you think it could possibly be?

I had a similar rattle. I know that the lift arms for the hatch have been know to be faulty. If the thats the case it may not be holding the trunk tight and that creats some rattle. Another option for rear end squeaks is a faulty trailing arm bushing in tegs.
