Pretty much. If there is a theif out there that wants something bad enough, he/she will find a way to get it.

Yup. Usually your top gets cut and they jack the seats. Sometimes they'll jack your headlights and/or taillights for the ricer conversions.

True, that's because they can make a grip of cash off of b-series motors plus whatever else b-series owners usually have on their car. They also can't pluck s2k's off of mall parking lots without the right parts because of immobilizer. s2k seats and hid's 'street value' will probably only get them ~$700-1000 total, if that. I thought about this topic long and hard before I bought an S (see sig.) and decided it should be alright. I'm going to invest in the McGard seat locks (kodokan_4 on s2ki sells them) which are similar to lug locks but are for the seat bolts. Those along with window stickers (professional looking, made by another s2ki member) that says "Protected by McGard seat locks" may prevent a top slash and\or seat theft. I've also installed additional alarm sensors onto the stock alarm unit.

me three...
stayed at a friends house and when driving home later the next day i switched from my mp3 player to radio to hear nothing but static! i was like wtf? there must be some bad reception in this area.
later on i looked back and saw that it was gone...
i don't even want to buy another...i don't understand why they design antenna's like that....

Well, my SI suffered about 25 attempted break ins (greatest alarm and security setup known to man) but they evenentually got it, and cut the damn car in half.
I've had my S going on two monthes now, not a single break in attempt. I leave the top down alot, and just leave nothing in my car, and noone does anything.
I dont understand the purpose of the seat locks, because they'll usually cut the soft top to get to them. Right there you're going to have to go through insurance, so why bother pissing them off. From my experience, if they can't steal your car, and they get frustrated, they will at the very least kick in your panels, key your car, and break the windoes.
