i was thinking about this also since my eg2 got stolen last year, but i do feel really safe on how the s2k is constructed against theft. I would like to learn more about it.

s2k is constructed against theft??? hahahahaha.. who are you kidding man... you do realize the top is vinyl right?? a blade will cut right though it.. which is how thieves get into the car....

we have issues with our seats being stolen... and with the seats being stolen the soft top being slashed and needing to be replaced also...

issues with the car being stolen are very few and far between.. we do have an immobilizer.. however if they are good.. there are ways around it... and they can always tow your car away....

A hard top is a good theft deterrent, especially for seat theft. I haven't seen any numbers on the issue, but I would imagine that its not a huge problem, likely because the parts aren't that interchangable with other cars like Civic and Integras.

get lo-jack early warning recovery system. if the car moves 4 feet without the key pass it automatically alerts them who call your cell, home phone, email, and 2 other numbers if you have them such as work. its around $1000 i think but well worth it.

haha of course i know the top is made of vinyl and of course i know that they can cut through it and cop those seats, speedo and what not. but from what he posted, he is talking about actually stealing the car itself, not juss parting out that shiet, since his civic got jacked a while back. Sorry If i didn't clarify myself correctly

I had it on my ITR, never found it. It works in 90% of cases according to Lo-Jack but not all.

When I had it installed on my R, it was roughly 800 with install.
