No, the intermediate shaft is not different... unless he for some reason decided to put on a y1 or g3 integra int shaft on there....which I highly doubt. But either way, that is irrelevant. He said *passenger* side axle. The passenger side axle goes straight into the tranny. Its the driver side axle that goes into the int shaft.

9d DA6 Teg: First off, are you sure you didn't mix up the axles? And how hard have you tried to push it in? Sometimes it takes some force. Also, there is a small ring around the end of the axle that slides into the tranny. If the ring is messed up it will make it very difficult to put the axle in.

thanks guys... i found out wat the problem was. the part of the axle that goes into the tranny was messed up cuz my little brother and i hammered the **** out of it. cuz when he pulled the axle out, he over-extended it and pulled it out of the socket. so when we were putting the axle back together, he smashed the top and messed up the grooves. thats what caused the axle not to fit. after 2 days of hammering, cursing, and throwing ****, i just went to autozone and bought me a new axle.
