d16a6 head on a z6 block
I just got a d16z6 block from a buddy, he suggested using my stock head on it for higher compression however i already have an a6 head i want to use, and apply forced induction. The a6 head will fit to the z6 won't it? and who has used head studs? How good do they work compared to regular bolts? thanks
yes you can put the head on but you have to put the oil jet in from a non vtec D.
but this is gonna lower your compression not bump it up....the a6 has a bigger combustion chamber...your gonna have to swap different pistons in too bump the compression.

the oil control jet from a d16a6 is in the block...i believe 92+ d-series is in the head. im not sure how you would get an oil control jet into a head and block without one. search is your friend....
