Default Ive searched like mad, and cant get straight answers!

Alright i own a 1990 Honda CRX HF model, with the stock engine, and a Greddy exhaust.

I am looking at http://www.totaljdm.com for an engine swap kit.

I click on engines

Then JDM Honda

Now i get lost, do i need the B16A G1? or B16A G2?

Then after that, i read all the stuff that comes with it. And i need to know if i need to buy the motor mounts, Air conditioner mount, etc. I know i can get some stuff from Hasport, buti dont know what.

please help a n00b who deperately needs to learn about cars!

Agreed you want the first gen because like your car it is also obd0. You will also need a mount kit. My mount kit of preferance is hasport.

Well if you got the 2nd gen, You would have to switch to OBD-1 and yes, you would get the benefit of having the Hydraulic transmissions over the older Cable Transmissions.

b16a G1. just get cable tranny . you need mounts, and a shift linkage, sometyimes you need a integra throttle cable or clutch cable but try your stock ones first cause some peoples work mine didnt tho. then you have to the the crank angle sensor wired i believe on the back ....

you dont have to wire the crank angle sensor.

get the swap from steve he has unbeatable prices, plus he sells hasport mounts and linkages for cheaper than anywhere i have seen before.

you need the

1g b16a sir swap, *engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, axles, hasport or place mounts, hasport shift linkages, if you want ac then you need to buy a hasport ac bracket.

you will more than likely have to pick up new 90-91 axles from vatozone,

thats all you need!

if you go 2g you need all of the above plus the hydralic conversion mount,
