Default Using a PS rack and pinion on a Non PS rack?

I have both power and non power steering racks form a 92si and a 92cx, the si's ratio is closer at i think 3.5turns lock to lock and the cx is 4turns. Can I dissasemble both and use the non PS shell that needs no fluid and wheighs less and the si rack and pinion for the lower ratio?

thanks a lot
PS: maybe an integra rack and pinion but I dont have thows.
