Back brakes..

Default Back brakes..

I have a pair of roters and calipers and all the connetions from the front of a 4th gen accord , could i place them in the back and remove the drum or do i need some special kit to do this .

i see some accords with back disk brakes but cannot find out how?

Why dont you just find an american Ex and yank the rear end off of it?

no there id not a way that you can put the front brakes on the back you need to have all of the stuff to hook up all of the parking brake stuff plus the calipers in the back are way smaller and the rotors are completely different it nowhere the same. it is very easy to do what 91EXRMANUAL said and put ex brakes on it i did it on my 94lx and it took me about 5 hours i havent had a problem since

how come exr's don't have rear disk and ex does?


Is ther a upgrade or conversion kit i can buy?

EXR is a canadian LX i think.

There isnt per say a conversion kit to buy, however if you travel to your local junk yard i bet you can find the rear end of an EX that you could strip.

the EXR is actually the EX...the EX is the LX...weird that the EXR doesnt have rear disc... hmmm

This is your thread man, what you don't want to take the time to read through it before you post? Like he said, your best bet is to strip an ex of everything related to the rear disc brakes. That way you'll have everything you need right in front of you and won't have to be hunting for that "certain part". Comprende?!?!
