those pistons are huge. nice lookin block!!!!!!!!! me and jeff have something in the works for next yr. H U G E pistons.

 

i see hot spots everywhere

 

Thanks guys. Jeff has been a great help. Plans are to get it running by late spring.

I have yet to sand down the sharp edges to help eliminate hot spots. They are just in there for the pictures.

 

What sleeve's are those? and what rods? and did IB actually build the motor?

Should have done alot of sanding down all the sharp edges on those pistons before installing them, this to help prevent detonation.

 

i wanna see some IB spec 2.7 litre k24 block pistons

Golden Eagle Godzilla sleeves.

IB Spec H beam rods w/ ARP bolts.

I do all the engine building on my motors.

 

:sigh: i'm the only person to not run an h-beam rod......

so you're going wiht the RObert REgrinds?

 

We're going to try and work something out and see. Nothing definite or specific specs have been layed out. I'd like to go with a VTEC killer cam too. No transfering over problems, easier to clay and check valve to valve clearance, etc. I need to send the head off first.

I got the block fairly cheap and it was already sleeved. Then I sold my stock block on Ebay. In the end I payed very little for it. I can get it done for a good price if you are interested.
