I have been boosting now for awhile at 9psi. I haven't been able to keep the wheels from spinning at wot in 1st and second gears. Just the past couple days and I've noticed I can't even do it in 1st gear let alone 2nd. The boost is there just not the power. I've changed plugs, and fuel filter so far. The only thing I could think of is my carsound cat. I've only had it for about 4 months but I heard the go bad alot. Could the cat be causeing this? I haven't done a compression test yet but I'm not burning oil, no smoke, not over-heating, just enough power loss where my tires won't break loose. Could it be my clutch? I still have a stock clutch but everything seems to be ok with that.

 

Is smoke coming out of your valve cover breather hole or oil dipstick hole?

 

haven't noticed any smoke at all.

 

My aim is the clutch....The thing is probably beat....I had the same problem wiith my clutch....However I would do a compression test and verify the health of the motor

thanx for that. I have a spec stage 3 cluth on order right now. I'm doing a compression check next week.
