Default wastegate dilema

94 delslow b16
dsm 14b turbo install.
Ok, i am putting my setup on my car, in a borrowed garage. i have to have it out of there by saturday. i ran into probs with the mani...now i had rip out my a/c, and clock the compressor to get it to work.... when clocking the compressor lost my wastegate actuator mounting position .... now i have to find a suitable wastegate to get it to the muffler shop and back.

i have heard carb springs are ok to use. .... i dont plan on sticking with them for long, but maybe jsut to get it to the muffler shop and back to my storage garage?

i bought flanges for a tial 35mm/deltagate yesterday from roadrace engineering online after i found that prob, but i wanted opinions about usgin carb springs.

any thoughts or expierenced opinions welcome

If it's just temporary, just leave the wastegate open. It's not like underboosting has ever created a problem.
