anyone kno anything about where i can find a body kit for 86' crx si. so far ive only seen two, one glimpse at one in a magazine and the other on mtv's pimp my ride but no solid contact on where to find one? anyone kno anything?

 

you wont find much love for the 1st gen rex on here, you should check out http://www.redpepperracing.com they have a ton of **** over there. Ive got an 85 with a B16 in it, its a ****** blast

 

is it hard 2 get a b-16 into the first gen rex, tha engine bay looks way too cramped, i thoght i couldnt even upgrade the headers?

i actually kinda like that...and i'm opposed to body kits of any type usually.

This guy went to my high school and I believe that bumper was originally off a 88-91. but DONT ask me how to do it, because even if I knew, I wouldnt tell you, for fear of ruining another CRX.

unless your crx is for track use only then I wouldnt even consider that for a street car.

 

The nice thing about the Andy's kit is it isnt really gawdy. The rear bumper is a lot like a WW RS kit and the front is pretty suttle by bodykit standards. The sideskirts are kind of small but i think its a pretty clean kit overall.

 

I saw this one at and http://www.importtrenz.com makes me want an 87 just so I can put this kit on it

Nothing worse than seeing an old school rex getting raped. Blah. Slap a dohc ZC in there with the matching ZC hood and call it a day

 

yeah ill never put a kit on my 1st gen, i think they look perfect the way they are, a to the second question of the engine swap, you can buy the mounts from hasport and the wiring might be a little difficult so watch out for that. It fits fine though and no problems with header clearance. Its a ******* beast too so i love it
