ok i need help from jdm experts, does anyone know what colors the jdm ef9 seats came in?? the reason i ask is because i bought a ef9 back seat but it is a really dark grey and on the picture it was a really light grey and i wanna know if he sent me different seats(cuz he said that they were the exact seats) or if it was a really poor picture, i feel like i ght ripped off but i wanna make sure before i make a big deal

I was just going by the color description, because i thought they only came in a solid grey or black color, or maybe black/grey with red stitching, but maybe i am thinking of crx sir only?

well the seller said its jdm, but im not too sure if i believe him. the seats have headrests but the color is way off from the pic. so could it be edm? our im wondering if its not the original fabric. but its dirty

 

I've seen the colors posted by EF_LSVtec. I have EF8 seats and I have that pattern (black/gray with red stripes). I wasn't aware of any other color in EF8/EF9 but I could be misinformed.

(Maybe its an EDM thing?)

 

Personally, I've never seen jdm seats in blue or other colors except for grey (pic) but if ever they made one, I would assume it would be made in the same material (tweed) and not cotton like usdm (oem) seats.

 

well the seat is made of tweed but the color doesnt look close to the grey in the pic above ^^^^^ and my seats dont have the stripes it has lil black boxes

They could be the 88-89 seats. eflsvtec's seats are 90-91, Jason you may have the 88-89, or some edm ones. Im home this weekend, cruz by if you see the crx parked out front.

All the 88-91 hatchback ef civic (not crx of course) rear seats are interchangeable. I have EF9 seats front and rear and they look exactly like the ones in the pic. A friend of mine has some JDM EF rear seats in his car (with the same headrests in pic, not small ones like ZC or 25X style) and it has a way different material color and pattern. His VERY CLOSELY resembles the 88-89 USDM pattern. The pattern is not exact but its damn close. I only thought EF9's got the big rear headrests and all other models lower got the baby ones. Post a pic of ur actual seats.
