ARC Intake on GSR?
Hey guys,
Ok, first, Im really sorry if this has been covered. I tried searching, and came up with nothing. But this is a message board to ask questions anyway, so here it goes.
Im looking into the ARC intake box and chamber for my car. I have a 2000 GSR, and I can only find these bad boys for the Type R. Is there really that big of a difference between the GSR, and Type R to where it wouldnt work? Also, Im eventually gonna probably end up with a JRSC, would this intake be able to be retained with the JRSC? Would it even be worth it with a FI setup?
Thanks guys, much appreciated!

I heard if you want to use it you need to move A/C lines. Just what I read from another thread when I had the option to get one with a trade. If thats not true make sure to correct me.
i heard that to be true as well, which is fine. Still dont know why its Type R specific though. And any insight on the other questions pertaining to the JRSC?
The GSR IM and the ITR IM sit differently in terms of where the intake would connect up to, is the design similiar to the Comptech Icebox? If so you can just use your existing intake arm. Not really familiar with the ARC one. Also, if you're planning ahead, JRSC's like larger diameter and small lengths such as short rams.

Couldn't you move the a/c lines like people do when they want to run the J's Racing carbon fiber intake, and the Mugen intake?? I think that might be doable, but then again I haven't tried, I am happy with my Comptech setup.
The GSR throttle body sits lower than the ITR T/B and i think that the arc intake chamber wont match up to the box in that case. You could just get the box and use your OE rubber intake pipe...thats if you can fit the box with AC and ABS lines...the arc box is much bigger than the J's or Mugen intake and so it may not fit at all.
