Default help make my car run right(z6 swap)

ok I got my car started for the first time last night...runs like its misfiring and spits a little light blue smoke...the plugs were fowled out so I pulled them and let it dry and put some new ones in today, still runs bad. It wants to die whenever I give it a little gas and is sputtering like hell...seems like im getting spark to all 4 and fuel pressure is good...any ideas on what I should be checking? im running a p28 with all pre-made engine wiring so the prob. shouldnt be there.

The problem could be in the wiring. Espeically if you got wiring components from multiple sources. Specifically, different people deal with the distributer wires in different ways. Some (like myself) match colors. Others (like Hasport) match sensors. Either way is okay as long as it is done consistently both at the ECU plugs and under the hood. But if there is a mismatch, you can have problems with distributer codes - which will cause the running problems you describe. Do you have a check engine light? And if so, what kind of codes are you getting?

yes check the wiring and any codes? plus make sure all your plug wires are in the right firing order.
