Anyone has this car? I am be looking at a used 86 CIvic Si this weekend, what do I need to pay more attention? What is the hp #? What is the weight? I need a car for college but i am just curious about the hp & weight of this car.....

make sure you check the entire underside for rust. those cars had a tendency to rust in many spots if they weren't taken care of. if there is a lot of rust, don't buy it. the civics and crx's from those years had a tendency to rust out in the back - where the suspension mounts up in the "trunk", near the gas tank, along the sides by the doors, and along the support beams. just be careful. check very closely for the rust. those spots are costly to fix if they even can be.

 

91 hp and about 2000 lbs.
