Something VERY weird just happened.
Hey guys.
well, I fired up my car this morning to bring it into the garage to tinker, So it really only ran for a minuite of so, but I parked it in the garage, shut her off and popped the hood.
When I opened the hood I saw that the rad hoses had both been collapsed (sucked) flat... when I went to remove the rad cap, it was on with a bit of suction, pulling it off, I heard the air ruh past, and THWAP, the hoses spring baclk to original size...
Now I open the hood periodically and over the last few weeks of driving it has never done this... and I havn't changed anything... what could this be? It kinda worries me.

could just be your low on coolant/water which creates room for a vaccum effect. You might wanna check and see if your coolant is topped off..
I'm gonna say radiator cap or the hose leading to the reservoir.
When it heats up, a little coolant flows over to the reservoir. When it cools down, the smallest disk under the cap is SUPPOSED to open easily. That sucks coolant back into the radiator. If that's stuck or the hose is blocked, then you get a vacuum in the radiator.
BTW, if that hose has a leak, then it sucks air back in, instead of coolant...

Sounds like a chupacabra
You need to check your levels more often.
you were low on coolant,
and when it cooled down from the last time you drove, the coolant contracted and created a vacuum

nope, coolant levels are normal... the rad cap had gotten gummed up, cleaned it with some break cleaner and got all the crap out, it's all good now.
it seems jimblake was right on it, I cleaned it just to be safe, and that is what fixed it up.
