Ok so, I've installed my eibrach pro-kit on the front of my integra (didnt get the back done yet b/c the bolt that holds the strut to the LCA just wouldnt budge for some reason so thats another problem I have to solve.) Anyways, I'm driving down the highway, and hit a big bump, and suddenly every bump I go over after that there is this loud bang, can't figure out what it is, well I make it home, and look under the hood, (you know the strut assembly, the strut the spring, that cap with the big rubber bushing the gold washer and then the nut on top) well somehow the big rubber bushing and gold washer are gone but the nut is still on top of the strut, I have no idea how this is possible, or where they came off, so now I have to replace them, can I get these from Honda/Acura dealership ? Can I just buy these parts, or do I have to replace the whole cap ? What is this cap thing called ? Heh, also, I was looking at the directions for installing the pro kit, and it has a diagram on trimming the bump stops, but no where in the directions does it actually say to trim them, is this absolutely necessary ?
