94 rs needs clutch. which kind?
non v-tec b18b with 140000 miles. plan on doing ls\v-tec within the next month. but i need a clutch now. any suggestions for under 4 bills? oh yeah should i get light weight flywheel with a new clutch? thanks
There are so many possiblities out there.
Personally, I've had good experience with ACT clutches. You should do well with either a Heavy Duty pressure plate or even their Xtreme one.
Any one of their sprung street discs should be fine with either pressure plate. Should come around to anywhere between $300-400 depending on what combination you get.
Note that all ACT pucked clutches are unsprung....IF you decide to go that route.

I just replaced my clutch with an Exedy clutch...IT's the one that's one step above the stock clutch... so it's an upgraded pressure plate with a stock clutch disc. I dont have a lot of mods, Intake, headers, exhaust, and a intake manifold planned for the future. I'm not going to put out that much more power than stock so i decided on this clutch... on a deal you can pick this up for about $220. I also got the ACT 12lb flywheel (stock I think is around 19lbs)...on a deal you can pick one up for about $200. So with this, you can get close to your budget. The ACT clutches are great but they're a lil pricy and might be overkill if you're not going to build big horsepower...
