ZC question
cool i was a little worried i always reading about parts being a pain in the you know what to get but know that i know this i might be able to finally make my mind up 100% im leaning more to the zc over the ls just for price ( tight budget )
I haven't had any problems finding parts for the ZC. One of the difficult things like 1990civicsiguye said is knowing which part comes from what. But with HT and all the other information available via the internet its ususally pretty easy to get that answer.
do you like your zc swap was it what you thougth it be when you swaped it i have a 90 si hb and i leaning more towards the zc engine just for cost and ease of putting it in let me know a little feedback and what you have done to it please
Very easy swap. Simple wiring. It is a nice upgrade over the d16, but the zc doesn't have the aftermarket support like the LS. Its more incumbent on the owner to know more about the engine than most "joe schmoo's". Given that there is a significant number of guys with that swap including me. I've seen guys with turbos, built engines and everything in between. It's all up to you and how far you want to take it.

d16a1 has less hp than the zc so in a sense they are not the same. They are similar in build but not power output.
