I usually start to explain things to them but they still don't understand. I explian that so much has to do with a car other than hp. Its all about weight, balance, etc, but all they care about is numbers. And people that don't know always seem to ask my 0-60 time. Never a 1/4 time, never a "how does that thing handle?". Oh well, I guess it could be fun playing with them a bit.

I usually tell them nothing and that its just an integra, but if I have a friend with me they usually say "just an integra, I don't think so.........." which annoys the **** out of me.

This is a little OT but what do you all do when someone comes up to you and starts telling you that they were gonna get an R but went with a prelude, cause it was sportier and faster or they went with the gsr because there really was no difference. I just shake my head and say cool, I like it. I mean I really don't care what they have to say, I just don't understand why they just approach me and feel that they have to express that there car is so much better than mine. I don't think mine is any better than anyone elses, its just an R. This has happened countless of times, especially at the gas stations.

I've been a ricer my whole life and I just post random babble on this board. I mean, a "Special Edition" must be faster than a "typeR", right? Afterall, my Mustang with SVT logo says, "Special" Vehicle Team. I'm for real... which is faster? SE or typeR?

How many people have actually told you that they totalled their R streetracing? And why would that have anything to do with the fact that their parents bought them the car? I don't think there is any correlation between who purchased the car, and if the driver will streetrace. Maturity comes with age, not with money. And how many RICH kids would settle for an Si instead of the R?

My parents bought me my car, and I totally appreciate it. Maybe I'd have some hidden deeper appreciation if I bought it myself, but I doubt it. Some of the most spoiled ****-heads I know are not rich at all, and completely don't appreciate anything that anyone gets them.

Would you like some SPITE with that envy?
