Am I the only insanely paranoid person with a boosted honda? I looked in the coolant reserve today and saw a slight oily film ontop the coolant, I thought **** what now. I honestly think it was nothing, I rubbed the coolant between my fingers and it was a little slick, OIL?? So I went and opened my new bottle of coolant, what do you know, same consistancy a little slick. Damned if I know what this little bit of film was, maybe the head lifting slightly under boost. I swear I'm gonna go bald by the time I'm 30, DAMN boosted honda always f_cking with my emotions. Do you think I should worry??? (car runs great)

I have seen it on a few cars. No biggie.

 

i had some giz looking stuff in mine.....judging from where i work one of the guys probably wacked off in my overflow tank...

 

Using anti-leak additives? Those cause films in my radiator.

 

I figured it was fine, just had to vent. Sorry guys

 

Coolant has a tiny bit of oil in it brand new to stop stuff from rusting. Sounds like nothing to worry about.
