Default Service Engine light

I drive a 95 accord, everything is stock, however the service engine light is red. The car runs fine, why would the light be on?
PS last tune up\oil change was within recommended specifications.

you simply need to reset the light. every time you do a tune up (service) reset the light. Not sure how to do this off the top of my head, but try a search or just check your manual (hope you have a manual and if you don't.... get one )

If the reset procedure is the same as my 2002 accord try this:

With the engine off press and hold the button on the gauge cluster (Mine was the trip reset button...)

Keep holding the button and start the car, keep holding for at least 30 seconds.. if the light doesnt turn off then it is the wrong button. Stop the engine and repeat till you find the right one
