how to get paint off
i have a 88 crx si but when i got it someone had painted the dash and does anybody know how to get it off, or is there anything special to use? does anybody know if stripper will work? if not anybody got a dash, canter console door panels and the plastic around the windows in the back

Thats a good one for metal items, it will melt plastic and eat a thin layer off the metal if you leave it on too long.

almost anything you use that will take off paint will also melt the plastic..i would suggest just painting it a better/different color or..like you already mentioned..getting a different dash..good luck

^^^ this is true DO NOT USE AIR CRAFT REMOVER. I would suggest using some virgin laquer thinner but use it sparingly it will discolor your dash making it look duller. After you use laquer thinner armorall it with the cler high gloss ****.

Aircraft remover is the best. I like how you spray it, come back in 15 min and the paint is blistered. hit it with a h2o hose and that's it. Nothing will be better than a new dash. What color is the dash? oh yeah aircraft remover is for metal only.
