Default Main relay is bad, right?

So I have my windows tinted, go to pick it up and it wont start, it cranks, but I cannot hear the full pump prime. They had left it outside and it was hot as hell. So I left, it starts raining, and they push it inside, so I go back to try it again, turn it "on", and I hear the fuel pump, then start it and it starts up fine. My main relay is bad isnt it? Do I need a main relay for a CRX or are they all the same? Ohh, the main relay has 140k on it.

The main relay also controls the injectors and such, so if u didnt hear the fuel pump prime and it still crunk, you may have another problem.

when you have the no start condition hit the relay with a screwdriver or something and if it starts then, its your main relay!

I have never tried any of these things, but was told that heat effects it negatively, which makes sense with what happened today.

The injectors could not be working either, doesnt really matter. As long as the starter has power, it will crank all day long.

What you might want to do is unplug it, and take out the relay,
Pop the cover off
Resolder all the connections, (they wear out over time)
they might look fine but warm up all of them and apply extra solder where needed.

If that doesnt work, check the following links to test the relay.

Or when u try and start it put ur hand on the relay...u should feel it click..</TD></TR></TABLE>

Just because it clicks, doenst mean its fine. It could still be bad

Do you think its worth dicking with? Theyre only like 30 bucks arent they? Ive been lucky in that it usually starts or I have been somewhere that it didn't really matter...I dont feel like getting stranded somewhere.
