In my car i had a very wierd problem with the idle, well so i think. When driving normally maybe cruising down the road at 1500rpms in 3rd gear and i come to a stop the revs stay at 1500 instead of dropping down. Sometimes it drops back down to normal idle but sometimes it doesnt. What could be the problem?

 

check your throttle cable. If its to tight and or sticking, it would cause this type of thing. Check that first since its free and easy.

 

I adjusted my throddle cable to idle at 900rpms but never though about it sticking. Thanks will check that in a little while.
