88 Prelude 2.0 si = What Transmissions Will Interchange?????
I have aquired a 88 Prelude 2.0 si with an exploded Transmission , and I need too know which Transmissions will interchange?
The motor ID is B20A2.

As far as I know, you have to use a bastard stepchild B-series (B20A5/B21A1) tranny because of the way the engine sits. I don't think you can use a B16/B18tranny but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

the 88-91 b series ludes use cable style shifters and hydraulic clutches. From looking at h series trannies they look to have the same bolt pattern... just a thought

thats weird. if they use cable shifters, then you def cant use a b16 or b18 tranny (bolt on).
