Does LS stock intake arm fit on gsr w/ skunk2 IM?
OK, I spent two freaking days this past weekend working this this particular mod.
the thing was a nightmare to install, and the nuts and bolts were really in a tight-spot. not to mention all the hoses, and sensors, and BS...
anyway.
here is the finished product:

As you can see, the stock GSR arm fits for ****, and the TB bracket gets in the way.... anyway, I have a special one that should be here in a week that will solve the TB problem...
My question is, can I use a LS intake arm instead of the GSR one. I don't want go aftermarket intake yet.
BTW, I know the a Type R one will work, but for 60bucks at the dealer??? I think I'll try my chances at a cheap LS one if it fits.
so if anyone knows, please post back.

If you use an ITR intake arm, you should also use an ITR throttle body (and vice versa) for the best fit.
The same goes if you use a TB that's not an ITR. The throttle body diameters are smaller than ITR, as are the intake pipe diameters.
