Regardless of quality, this has to be an improvement over the stock IM's especilly for boosted applications.

I mean it is by far not the best design out there, but for the cost, and ability to use stock sensors still too, I think it may be a good investment.

Unfortunitly like most other things they do not have an h22 application yet...

i would be worried of an intake manifold especially a poorly designed one.
good r&d has been put into skunk2 and edelbrock IMs, to make sure air is evenly distibuted.
heck edelbrock found this as an issue and then angled the throttle body placement ...

Not bad for 175.00, big plenum, short runners, looks decent for a boosted application.

I coulda sworn Geoff posted a computerized version of the same intake manifold a couple weeks ago. Proven test results will yeild true results, but speaking from a consumers point of view. This just means more options for us guys that refuse to spend big dollars buying brand names. I heard from all the HT bandwagon jumpers to watch out for my heavily braced Sparks racing mani, watch out for what???? Watch out because it performs as good or better then the name brands???????? Cracking was the issue, not the performance aspect of it. Just my 2 cents.

OBX made one mistake. They didn't come out with over priced product for all the "product" driven ricers. Somehow....everyone thinks the expensive=quality. That intake looks great for boosted engines. Don't compare a Skunk2 mani that has all of this "R&D" because your comparing a NA intake to a Boosted Intake...... Anyways, I might pick up one of these along with OBX's new equal length turbo manifold that was on the boards a couple days ago. That exhaust manifold looked rather stout.

my entire life of modding cars ive seen tons of posts/questions/concerns about obx products.

ive used there parts and some lasted long, some were completely garbage, and some im still using.

yes their products in my opinion are better then stock and the prices are always right.

just remember though; number one rule for modding cars, you get what you pay for.

long story short; if your on a budget obx makes cheap power; just dont be upset if the parts dont last

just my .02 cents as usual
hth!
