What the hell is wrong with my suspension?
Ok, stock 91 RS Hatch. The rear tires sit like the car is lowered even though it still has the OEM Springs/Shocks on it. The rear camber is way in the negative. I dont think my 2k1 had this much negative camber then it was lowered aver 1.5".
The Camber is so bad, that the inside of the tires are so worn they are showing the belts after 9 months of driving on them. THey were brand new in december when I bought the car. The fronts look almost new & other than the inside tread, the rest of the rears look that way too.
Now I know I am in need of a bushing overhaul. My questions is, can bad bushings in the rear make the camber that bad?? The rear sits a little lower than the front as well. SO I figure the shocks are blown & the springs are shot all around. I just want to know what I have to replace first so I dont go thru tires once a year.

Are you sure the prior owner wasn't in an accident or he cut the stock springs? I doubt it is the bushings because no bushings in the suspension would cause your suspenstion to drop. It may ride like total **** but not affect your camber. I had 200,000+ miles on my '90 teg and the bushings were fine.

I'm betting bent suspension pieces, the most likely culprit if the alignment is out-of-spec when it's still on stock suspension.
I bought the car from an old lady that gave me 13 years of reciepts on the car. So I dont think she cut the springs & I carfaxed it before I bought it & it was clean.
Driving it today the rear shocks got to be dead. On a dip, the rear has little to no absorption to it. Hits kinda hard. It all around rides like a lowered car.
I will get the pic ASAP and show you all what I am talking about.
