Default part number, wires, cap, rotor for price of wires?

As far as I know, this could just be a rumor, but I've heard that there's a way that you can get spark plug wires, a cap, and a rotor all for the price of plug wires, but you've got to request it by part number. It had something to do with a recall, but I don't know much more then that. Has anyone heard of such thing?

you mean this?:

it says the price is about 52bucks not including shipping.

but as you can see the cap and rotor is not included.

so I doubt you can really get everything for that cheap...

Honda had an "emissions compliance ignition tune-up kit" for 96-97. If your car qualified you got a free oil change, new spark plugs, and this ignition kit that included cap, rotor, and plug wires, all changed free of charge under warranty. It would also entitle you to replacement of any failing emissions sensors. Basically, almost anything that would flag the check engine light. The qualifications are somewhat strict so don't expect to get anything replaced for free anymore but the "ignition kits" do exist. What kind of car?

Hmmm... The guy told me about this said it had to do with an emissions related issue. I've got a '98 GS-R, so I don't know if I can get this stuff, but he said you could still get it if you request it by part number.
