amp was submerged in water in water and now speakers dont work???
i just noticed after it rained water was leaking into my trunk and when i turn on my car the radio works fine but no sound whatsoever.....so when i look, the amp was laying in a puddle
...but the amp's power light is still on so the amp still works but no sound coming out of the speakers...does anyone know what it could be or did the amp get some type of damage internally despite the fact it still gets power????

Normally when your amp goes for a swim...its not a good thing.
water + 12 volt gear = bad
Time to start looking
for a new amp

holy hell
Water might spell corrosion.
Check your wiring (ground, power, fuses, signal RCAs).
For wiring ends, clean all contact points - get rid of that oxidation/corrosion and gunk.
For electronics: I'm not sure there is much you can do about the amp, but note this: I can submerge a Video Card in dirty water, then clean it with isopropyl alcohol, dry it off...and I won't be worried at all...it'll work as long as I have cleaned it. That is of course if I did that while it was OFF! You could try cleaning it out...not sure if it'll help. The thing to worry about is trace elements in the water making connections that shouldn't be...
Good luck.
