Default Window cable busted!!!

Well I was driving yesterday and my wife decided to roll the window up. It was fine till about 2 inches from the top and then it made a loud pop and dropped . When we got home I pulled apart the door and tried to raise it by hand. It went easily till the same spot where the popping occured and the drop. The window popped out of it's front track causing the cable to bind and it snapped!

Long story short, is there any where to buy this one cable or will I have to buy the entire motor assembly? Also, if I can just buy the wire, does anyone know where I can find a diagram as to how I need to reinstall this bitch? Can't remember

I don't believe you can just buy the cable. I think you have to buy the whole regulator.

New question, I have a 92 Prelude that I'm working on right now. Does the lude use the same setup (motor wise) as my 95 Accord? If so, I'll probably just rape the lude

The Prelude regulator is completely different so you won't be able to swap parts there. Suggest you locate a good salvage yard and buy the regulator as a complete assy.

The only part I need is one of the two cables. I'm just curious if the prelude has a similar system from which I can take the cable.
