2000 F23 into 92 accord
I just recently picked up a 92 accord ex as a daily driver. It is an automatic and the stock F22 motor is shot.
There is a local junkyard that has a 2000 F23 with 41,000 miles for a reasonable price.
I assume the F23 is OBD2 and the car is OBD1. You can run an OBD2 motor in an OBD1 car if you splice on the OBD2 injector plugs and distributor plugs.
(1) Would this be the route to take or should I swap over the injectors and distributor from the blown stock motor?
(2) Would the stock ecu run the motor decently?
(3) Will the F23 bolt up to the stock auto tranny?
Thanks for the help. Sorry for being an Accord newbie
