Default Custom fuse box, or distribution block ideas

Does anyone have a DIY for creating a fuse box. I want to be able to have one power line coming from the battery that goes to a distribution box, where then I can connect a bunch of differnt positives to, that way my engine bay looks cleaner, and my battery dosent have a thousand wires coming from it. I'd like to use it to connect gauges, boost contorller ect. to it. Is there a name for this device?

there's a few things you can do.

There are ways to get a single 8ga wire to imput to a fuse block with 6-10 outputs that are much smaller. This would be a pretty clean way to do it.

search delcity.net or partsexpress.com

I actually have a few around, let me see if I can take a pic of on or find it on the net. If you are not running high-amp accessories, this would probably be the ticket.

what you probably want is something like this:

or this:

They used to have one that had an 8ga lead attached to it, but you could probably use either of those.
