Si or DX?
I recently bought a 1990 CRX and up until today have thought it was an Si model. I was looking through some documents and noticed the car listed as a DX. Now I can't figure out which one it is, so the experts here have to help me
First it has the door mounted seat belts and disk breaks on all wheels, which I thought only came on the Si. Plus here is a pic of my engine bay. d16a6 or d15? Thanks for looking, and yes I'm a noobie.

The seller told me the car was an Si, but I just wanted to make sure after reading the DX on one of my documents. I'm convinced its an Si and my one document was wrong
thanks for your help.

Look at the Vehicle Registration. That lists the year it was created/first year sold/previous owners name and some other info. I dont think they get that messed up right? Since its a pretty damn important document. - Darrell
MPFI is no indication taht it really is an SI. You could have a DX that has either (1) a MPFI conversion, or (2) a complete D16A6 swap. Only the presence or absence of a powere sunroof will tell you if you have a DX or SI.

I can't believe you people:
Just give us the 6 digit designation on the VIN... it should read JHMED9. That means it's an Si.
If either your Title, or your Car says JHMED8, then it's a hot item, and you're fucked.

Correct, but you can always slap them on, my dx has Si rear disc brakes. But that crx does look like an Si to me.
