Default Proper cool down

What is a proper cool down to use on your car after hard driving?

Usually, I let the car cool down for about 1 minute at idle with no brakes on in my garage, then i put it in first and shut the car off (no e-brake at all).

is this hurting the car at all?

Nope-not hurting it at all. Its a good idea.

Just make sure the car has ample time to warm up before you take it on hard runs.
