I wonder it the guys from teckademics will try and close MIR to the public and charge admission for anyone wanting to come in like they tried to do at Allsports. What a crock, they actually expected us to close our doors to customers unless they paid teck's admission price to come in and watch them "race" go-karts. Considering they didn't prepay, they didn't pay the fee to reserve the track for just them, and over half of the teck people didn't even race. Oh but they would have given a discount to any of Allsports paid members, and members coulda raced with them if they wanted to. Of course with a very rare exception a one armed blind monkey coulda driven better than these guys.

In perhaps the only on-topic post in this thread, I saw that dakar yellow M3 from the videos at a couple autocrosses a few years ago. I will say that he was faster than a complete novice (me) in a GTI VR6. I can't say he was that much faster, though.

I think I'll be sitting this event out.

That is Dada or Dodo or something like that and he is fast because he has dumped a metric ton of money into his car but I have never been real impressed with his talent. He is average for a track driver.

For the record I consider myself average as well. Catch 22 will say I am sub-par however.
