I just bought a b20 long block and i am looking 4 a tranny. I would like 2 know what is the diffrence between a cable and a hydraulic b16 tranny. THANK YOU HONDA TECH'S 4 HELPING A NOOB

1st difference is pretty much obvious. One uses a cable to actuate the throw out bearing and one uses a hydrolics. I'm not sure if the gear sets are the same either.

internals are different and not interchangeable also, unless you have a ys1(out of a 92-93 gsr)
