Default Suspension for prelude sh

I recently purchased a 1998 honda prelude sh, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good move in terms of getting the car a little lower. I did some searches but couldn't find much for the SH model. I was looking into the neuspeed springs; however, they only work with the stock shocks and I'm not sure that the stock shocks would be lasting long with the neuspeed 2" drop. Any input helps. Thanks.

Try using the "search" button at the top right hand corner.

If you check Neuspeed's website, they have Koni Yellows...and I think Reds you can use with their sport and race springs.

Back in '99 I used Eibach Pro-Kit with my stock shocks for about 6 months or so. It lowered it 1.3" I believe.

The only concern you have with the SH suspension is that you want to replace the shocks at the same time as the springs in order to get the correct ride height. So an aftermarket spring/shock combo for a base will work perfectly on an SH. But upgrading the shocks at the same as springs is a good idea anyway, as the stock ones will have a hard time damping stiffer aftermarket springs.

Any company that claims they make an SH specific spring, or that their springs work for both base and SH, is confused. Likewise, noone makes a shock that's SH specific (i.e. designed to work with the longer stock SH springs) - although Koni's are height adjustable and can be set to compensate.

If you search some more, you should find plenty of discussion & info.
