Default New tranny...

anyone know if there is any tranny that will mount up on a d series engine (or b series for that matter) which is a 6 speed?
Im looking into racing and 6 gears accelerates better than 5 obviouslly, and i've never heard of a 6 speed on a honda, if there is tell me and if you know where i can get one, that'd be even better

D series tranny only fits d series.
Just get a RSX and you have yourself a 6-speed racecar

Yes they are Honda made but will not bolt up to a D or B series engine. Unless you go with a K series engine swap you're gonna be SOL for a 6 speed in a Honda.

Quaife will make you one. For about $22,000 . . .

Not necessarily . . .</TD></TR></TABLE>

not necessary to get a 6 speed for faster acceleration, 5 speed can do the job as well.
